Letter from Nigel Lungley - Chairman Stage Door Theatre Company Felixstowe

Dear Roy
I am writing to congratulate you. The cast absolutely loved it and being part of a record breaking show. Totally unknown in Suffolk. It broke all box office records. It even appeared on Ticketmaster 'Hot Tickets' list alongside West End shows. There were queues each night for Box Office returns. This show was an absolute triumph and will never be topped. We will bring this show back next year by public demand (Aug 2009). Our N.O.D.A rep was crying - for all the right reasons!!

Helen Reid, Secretary, Settle A.O.S

Dear Roy
We had a brilliant week and people are still talking about it. We are so glad we decided to take this show on board. Thankyou again. If you hadn't sent the script last year we wouldn't have known about it.
PS
People in the community are still talking about the show six weeks on.

Letter from The Rev Duncan Rhodes, St Chads All Stars, Diggle, Oldham

Dear Roy
We had a memorable week. We sold out three performances and could have sold out more. The sheer delight our audiences showed was very satisfying, We were all prompted to ask have you written anything else?

Letter from Roy Ellis, Treasurer, The Elizabethan A.O.S. Ossett

Dear Roy,
Just a few lines to say that performing your show was the most enjoyable and satisfying experience of any show we have done previously. We laughed from the first rehearsal to the last performance. yet we were also moved at times. It's going to be a hard act to follow

Letter from Alli Sparrow Hewitt, Cast Member, Stage Door, Felixstowe

Dear Roy
I would like to thankyou for writing such a beautiful show that meant so much to so many/ I have been in 18 musicals and never enjoyed a show more. You'll never know how much this show meant to me. For 6 months I ate, Slept and breathed my part. I only hope as a company we did it justice. (they did!)

Letter fro Joan Cutbill, Guisley (Leeds Bradford ) A.O.S

What a fantastic week we had - I hope you have continued success with this wonderful show.

David Marcus Artistic Director, Walney A.T.C Barrow In Furness

Dear Friends
Welcome to this fantastic new show. I know this will delight you and your younger friends and give them a fascinating insight into life during WWII. Sit back, put the lights out and sing along and enjoy an evening of fun nostalgia and more than a little pathos.

Sandra Mortimer Hinchley Manor O.S. Kingston on Thames

Thankyou for coming to see the show - I hope you enjoyed it. The feedback received was really positive and the cast had a really enjoyable week. The show was very appropriate for our 60th Anniversary.

Brian Hubbard, Chairman and Director Swaffham Players

Dear Roy
I am still getting letters and phone calls from people saying how much they enjoyed the show - perhaps we may do it again. The cast gave me a present and signed it - "All that hard work for four nights pleasure - It's Disgusting" (an in joke from the script). I enjoyed every minute of it. Once Again my sincere thanks for all your help and such a wonderful show.

Brian Hubbard
